When you decide to use products on your hair, it has its own response to the hair shaft and its density. The obvious would just be it sitting on the hair. And that has some truth because it's a product, so look at it like clothes. The next truth is that when you continue to use the product, you start to understand how it makes the hair respond. You will either develop a liking for it or a fondness for it. When you take the hair product and store it the right way, you will continue to get the same results. When you decide to stretch the product, you weaken the emphasis it has on the hair. Instance the edge controller turns white or beez wax melting or water being added to curl cream or conditioner. Even when you store gel with no cap or lid or top it will change its consistency and the results you expect. My draft is to encourage you to take care of your well-invested assets and use them accordingly. The shelf life is just that, and the product will make an impression if you learn to concoct and distribute according to the density.
