Are your top 5 in any particular order....would have figured Debbie Does Dallas to be your #1. And NO, it's not in my top 10 or 11 or 12........

Here's mine in no particular order:

The Princess Bride

There's Something about Mary

My Cousin Vinny

The Lion King

Shrek

Jason,

Gee, I like how you turned the TOP 5 list to top 19 - way to edit your list down like everyone else. :T:

Maybe we should have done TOP 5 dramas, Top 5 Comedies, Top 5 Action films, etc...

I €™d say you could categorise "The Princess Bride" and "There's Something about Mary" as chick flicks, I anticipated that you would put "Pretty Women" Janna.

Hey--I gave my top 5 movies and tossed in some Hon. Mentions--- It is hard to break down the best movies without categories, like comedies, westerns, etc.... *nl

There are so many great movies it would be fun to break them down into categories like you suggested!!!

Why's that? Really didn't care for the film....bit too predictable. I'm also not a big Julia Roberts or Richard Gere fan.

Jason,

I know what you mean. When others come out with their list - it's like, oh yea, I forgot about that film. I picked mine from just the fact that I enjoy watching them over and over. My Cousin Vinny was one of the first videos we had at work and just about every patient picked it. We knew all the lines by heart. Even though we saw it everyday, we'd still laugh at the funny parts. That was years ago but whenever it's on TV, I still try to watch.

Janna, My Cousin Vinny is the GREATEST B movie of all time!!!!!! There is none better!!!!

Another cult favorite of mine is Real Genius starring a young Val Kilmer and Hackers staring a beautiful A. Jolie and her 1st hubby Jonny Lee Miller

Both excellent movies.
