Topical 5% minoxidil + 0.5% Finasteride once a day?

Hello,
I was prescribed: 1mg oral Finasteride & topical 5% minoxidil + 0.5% Finasteride to apply once a day.
I saw that the general recommendation is to apply 5% minoxidil twice a day so I wonder if I should get additional 5% minoxidil to apply it in the evening (making it my scalp gets minoxidil twice a day).

Once per day is good enough to start. You’ll see if you get any irritation from it.

Thanks for the answer. I don't have irritation yet (I am using it for a week).
Should I add additional 5% minoxidil in the evening?
