Unsure about surgery’s capabilities

Hi all. Just signed up as was hoping for some impartial advice. I had my surgery 6 weeks ago and after following everything to the letter it seems I’ve been left with some noticeable scarring in my transplanted area. I can’t see much online about scarring of this nature so naturally very concerned that my clinic have not done a particularly great job. From the beginning I had three or four dark blooded areas of scabbing and by day 14 these were still very much visible. By day 24 they were gone but I’ve been left with fairly deep scars and indentations which is now more visible since the new hairs have dropped out.

I’ll attach pictures of both day 1 where you can see the severity of the scabbing a few midway through healing period and a picture taken last week which shows the most problematic scar I’ve been left with. I’d be keen to know if others have been left with scars of this nature, whether it’s considered normal and why this might have happened?

For info, I was told a sapphire blade was used which apparently should have increased healing time and made neater incisions.

Thanks

Your skin can look bumpy and uneven after surgery. It takes time for it to heal. The larger scabs you had were more than likely dried blood making it look worse.
Give it more time for your skin to heal.
How many grafts did you have?

I had 2500 grafts.

I think I’m concerned because I can feel indentations in the three areas that were mainly affected by the scabbing. The scabs were not surface wounds but seemed to be far deeper than that. Here’s another photo of one scab which opened up after rubbing with a wet towel which was suggested by the clinic to remove scabbing.

That does look deep with a good chance of leaving a permanent indent/scar. it may still
heal as well.
Hopefully, all the grafts grow making it unnoticeable unless shaved down.

Scabs shouldn't be removed by force. You leave them to fall off when they are ready or soak them and gently massage them away. Any scab that ain’t ready won’t budge unless forced which results in the tissue underneath being pulled away.

What is your clinic now saying about the possible scarring?

I'm guessing you went to a Turkish clinic? What did they say?
As Mac and Max have stated, this certainly isn't the norm unfortunately pal.
2500 in that
area should be very dense if grown out though
