Just wanted to get some opinions on this.
Some surgeons don’t split grafts or use stereo microscopes like the Vision Engineering Mantis and instead work with just loupes with 8x magnification for example. I think the idea is to keep the grafts intact and avoid extra handling but doesn’t that kind of rely on the patient having enough natural single-hair grafts for areas like the hairline and temples? If there aren’t many could that mean possibly taking grafts from outside the safest part of the donor zone?
