I'm three weeks after surgery, I have hair, it hasn't fallen off yet. Can I use minoxidil now, or wait for them to fall out? because they don't have to come off. second question, I have empty space here, is it a doctors' mistake, or are the grafts just dropped off?

You should ask your clinic regarding your minoxidil question as the answer is different from clinic to clinic. Since you should follow your clinic's instructions only, their answer is the only one that matters. You'll see a variation from one clinic to the next where some will have you taking minoxidil through to the day of the surgery and have you resume the a few days later and some will have you cease using it two weeks before surgery and ask you not to resume for a full month afterwards. And of course, there are variations in between as well.

Regarding the empty space, it may be because there is native hair present that did not need additional density or it could in fact be a gap but it won't show up once the hair grows and it will be a non-issue. I've seen it hundreds of times and it never winds up bothering the patient.
