im 26 and from the uk and im wanting a lower hair line. the rest of my hair is very thick and grows really quickly. Iv been reading a few posts but still very unclear of where to go and what procedure to have, originally i was thinking dhi in the uk but there docent seam to be many good reviews of them? so edging towards fue.. as your hairline is so important as it shapes your face i want to get the right clinic/doctor.. a few people say Belgium would be better than the uk for HT procedures? any advice from people would be really appreciated.

Get consultations with some doctors. Send puctures to any clinic you are thinking of going to and tell them what your goals are.

Look for clinics with consistently good results.

superr, i think you are missing the point, who should you have a hair transplant with or should you have a hair transplant period. Can you post some pictures where your hair loss is now?

If you are based in the UK why not go to the Live surgery workshop event at the Farjo clinic to get a feel for Hair transplantation itself before pulling the trigger dude....that way you know exactly what to expect.

Good choice of surgeons you are looking into by the way in Dr B and Dr F;)

I do believe that the best clinic is Vinci Hair Clinic,
you can see by the quality of the website and articles:I mean, these guys look like they really work with quality.
You can even have a simulation for free

I personally would not lower that hairline at all, the side profile is perfect and not too high and you have temple peaks so it doesn't look that high at all in my opinion. I used to have a hairline similar to this....it just looks mature....i know how you feel though as i hated the hair combed back and i thought mine was too high also.

If i had gone down the lowering route i would be in a whole worse state now so please be careful because ou simply don't know whats around the corner regarding future loss and you may need those grafts later.

Personally i would go to Brussels. I would not go to the UK as theres not just enough consistent results out there.

My choice would be FUE only and Dr Bisanga (Who i went with) or Dr Feriduni would be my choices.

There is some good work coming out of Turkey but i think its still too early to say its a hotbed of consistent results.

Only my opinion but I don't think you need a HT at the moment. Are you on Finasteride and Rogaine? Those alone could make a visual effect on your hairline and also maintain the rest of your hair.
I see you are 26, how long have you been balding for? Just trying to ascertain how aggressive your hairloss is.
By the way if you do decide to go the HT route 1500-1800 grafts will give you one damn good hairline, providing you pick a competent Surgeon.

Coopman makes good points, what meds are you on and how long has your loss loss been? Not saying you should not have an operation but at the same time make sure you can be realistic about your hair loss and where you could be when you are 30 plus, mine jumped massively.

I'd love your hairline. I'd get on finasteride and ,minoxidil and see how it goes.
