I have noticed the Wimpole clinic in London is on the list of the top 10 hair transplant clinics. Has anyone had experience of this clinic, were you happy with the results and the aftercare?

I haven't decided on a clinic, financially this year is yet to improve for me so I set it aside for now. I'm still wondering if anyone has had an experience with this clinic.

A friend of mine had his done at the wimpole in London and it's a very good result. Would not know he had it done. It was alot more grafts than I expected he would have had though at 2500 just for the hairline. He must have hidden his hair loss well before the transplant as I would only have guessed him needing about 1500.
But on the flip side another friend of mine had a consultation there and said it wasn't very thorough, he was then also warned to stay well away from wimpole from one of the UKs top surgeons (I won't mention the name)
So difficult to know what to think! I also would be interested to hear of anyone's experiences there from this forum...

I visited a number of London clinics and the consultation at Wimpole was no less thorough than the others, the main difference was at Wimpole the consultant (not a surgeon, more of a secretary) drew a hairline on me to see what I thought about it, also the surgeon came in to review it and give his opinion on how many graphs he recommended.

It’s always best to consult with a surgeon who will perform the procedure and not an admin member. Look at their before and after results portfolio also so you get an idea of the quality of the work, naturalness of the hairline and how dense the transplanted result looks.
