Worried about potential sunburn after day of skiing

I'm 4 months post my procedure. I went skiing under the sun all day over the weekend. I wore a helmet but failed to realize the possibility of getting burned through the vents in the helmet (pictured). My head was pretty red at the end of the day (pictured). I'm not sure if the redness is due to the sun or just irritation from the helmet. The red patterns don't match the vent patterns on the helmet, so I'm assuming it's probably irritation but not sure. Thoughts?

A combination of sweat and the Sun penetrating through the holes. Apply some Aloe Vera to cool and moisturize the skin.

Thanks for the advice. My doctor told me to just leave it alone..it's been a week and it's just starting to feel better. I hope I didn't mess anything up. I kept reading how after a month you should resume normal activities. I wish aftercare procedures were more universal. I feel like every doctor has different procedures similar to a tattoo aftercare. It's very stressful spending money and getting a transplant. I'm a very careful person but I also don't want to sit at home and do nothing.
