Technicians, how many per clinic on average?

How many technicians does each clinic have on average?

Are there any advantages in having a large amount of technicians over a small amount of well trained ones?

Do clinics just use their own technicians or are there some that travel from clinic to clinic helping out like agency staff?

Do different technicians have just one specific job or do they rotate tasks throughout the day?

It depends on where you're talking about, regionally speaking. In the UK, there is a large number of technicians that travel and take jobs at various clinics depending on the pay and the opportunity, but they tend to float around. Some clinics have a dedicated staff, which is what I would prefer. The average is probably around four to five per clinic.

In Turkey, it is most likely in the realm of ten to twenty or more due to the volume that most clinics push through daily. Many of them work for one clinic but there is turnover in that clinics are competing for the best techs as well, at least the clinics that give damn.

In North America, if the clinic you're going to is a plastic surgeon or a medispa with an automated FUE device, the techs are most likely travel techs, farmed out by the device manufacturer, but most clinics with a reputation have dedicated techs, averaging probably between four and six techs per clinic.

Some techs can do multiple things, others can only cut (slivering/dissecting) while others can place and cut.

I hope that helps.
