I had 2 days of temp micropigmentation monday and tuesday of this week . Ill be returning in a months time for further.
I am going to start a new thread about the whole process this thursday.

I was told that the pigment gets more visible a week to a month after application , I have to be honest I dont fully understand why this is ? anyone like to explain ,............

Congrats! I'm excited to follow your journey.

For the first few days following the procedure the initial swelling and redness can make the impressions harder to see because they are so megascopic. Once that calms down you start getting a better idea of what you are looking at. Also, initially after the pigment is injected into the body your cells will attempt to surround the pigment and extract it from your body like a bad infection. During that time the pigment can appear more opaque. But, eventually after all the healing over the next month the dots will grow about 10% and then they will be easier to see.

:) stay patient. Keep in touch!

Hi Nicole , thanks very much for your input on this topic ,perhaps my understanding was not as good as it should have been prior to this, in all honesty I did not spend as much time researching as I did before my 2600 frontal fue in 2014, but I think Iam in good hands. My initial impression of temp is that it has much to offer when combined with FUE . I am looking forward to my third session with Debbie and Tom .

First day was pretty much just mild discomfort, the frontal area you feel it more. Second day as the skin has already had a good going over the day prior its a little more uncomfortable, its not as bad as fue. No discomfort after little sore to touch but that is to be expected , certainly no swelling . I am suffering a bit with flaking skin though the last couple of days . So much so what I was worried about it at the Sunderland / Boro match yesterday in my mates box as all in close proximity , but nothing was mentioned . Had flaking again but hopefully it clears up soon

You can use your silicone gel as many times as you need to per day to help sooth any dryness or irritation. That should help! Are you still using the special shampoo? I like to have my patients start using a scalp conditioner after day 10-14. I like Nioxin Scalp therapy. It's just conditioner but its a good idea to condition the scalp. Then moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Hi Sun123,Have you competed all your sessions? If so, did it make a noticeable difference?
