I'm 22 years old.. Dealt with hair loss since I was about 17.. Been on Propecia and Rogaine since 17

I took this propecia pill for 5 years 1mg a day everyday.. since I was 17 with little to no side effects besides no morning erections and watery semen.. turned 22 oct 2nd of 2016.. as the months went on I felt like my penis wasn't working like it should.. my erections seemed much weaker.. I stopped being hard during sex twice with my girlfriend.. stimulation couldn't even bring it back up.. it was a disaster.. there were just times I could feel literally during sex my penis getting less and less hard.. that scared me. in the back of my mind I was thinking about the time it happened before and I think it made it happen so that wasn't fun.. it crushed me.. I was convinced it was mental but obviously that plays into it to.. it's been so hard.. then I contributed it more to propecia and obviously after that I just had to quit.. I don't get why 5 years later it's becoming a issue? I haven't taken propecia since January 9th.. my overall libido has improved but my hair doesn't seem to be.. here are pictures of where it's currently at..

being concerned like anybody else's would I decided to get blood work done.. here are the results to that as well..

Basically propecia has kept my hair at a pause.. not to thin and not to thick forever now.. what concerns me is... having been off it for basically a month I can see my hairs starting to shrink and recede in the front and that's ruining my confidence.. I'm terrified to start propecia again and have libido issues.. and I'm even more terrified to let my hair go.. I don't know what to do.. are my levels normal? I don't know.. that's why I'm reaching out.. note this test was taken some time off of propecia recently..

I don't know what to do.. should I try Monday Wednesday Friday propecia? Can once a week maybe twice keep my hair but my ED away? I don't get why this is happening to me now.. But what if that starts up my ED again.. what if that ruins the recovery I've been making off the pill.. I don't want permanent ED.. I'm only 22.. I don't want to lose my hair either.. is there anything I can do to keep my hair and not have ED? Why is this random ED happening now..? I just want to live a normal life.. rogaine and regenepure and propecia is all I've been doing.. but recently it's been minus the propecia.. I don't want to lose my hair but I don't know what else to do.. I'm so lost.. is taking this pill anymore worth the risk? I don't want to watch 5 years be wasted..

What should I do?

Hi, Where do you live? There maybe few clinics to refer you to depending on where you live. A good HT physician who can give you the type of advice you seek. Get 2-3 recommendations as each doctor may have different opinions. I would consult with a clinic who have been around for number of years and have a solid reputation because many new clinics don't have much experience with hair loss medications.

I was worried about the same thing too once and found it to be related to something completely different and not the Hair loss meds in the end. I'm not saying it's not possible but five years seems like a long time to be ok on the meds and then suddenly have issues downstairs......I agree with Janna i would speak to a reputable hair loss clinic and get advise.
I could be reading your blood results wrong as i'm not a doctor or anything so don't quote me i could be way off, but your male hormone levels look to be fine to me.....they all look to be in range except your testosterone which seems a little higher than the reference range.....if Propecia was affecting your male hormones enough to have a huge impact on your male reproduction organs then wouldn't that testosterone result be significantly lower with it being an anti androgen?
Could it be that because it's happened before then it's playing on your mind and not helping*nl

I see what your saying but these tests were taken a few weeks off of propecia.. I feel like even though the ED was sudden the other sides were definitely real.. lack of sex drive.. no morning erections.. extremely watery semen.. erections but nowhere near as hard.. these cannot just all be in my head.. I find it next to impossible even with no ED that the tons of men with no sides have to have what I listed as the bare minimum. Those are still sides and can affect you very badly. What can a hair clinic honestly tell me that honest people can't? All they will attempt to do is sell me something.. or most likely recommend I restart the pills.. I really do feel like I had effects but I don't know how to handle this I'm so lost.. I don't want to be a bald loser :( I need a way to figure this out.. can a 5mg once a week propecia help? Maybe once a week? Monday Wednesday Friday maybe? Will the sides return? I just want a way out of this hell

I feel for you dude....especially being only 22. I know it still can have sides but have you considered maybe using Saw Palmetto as an alternative to Propecia. Granted i don't know a lot about the dosages people use but i know my own brother uses it and it seems to be helping him maintain what he has left (he doesn't know i take Propecia or have had a HT) I just happened to see it in the cupboard one day when looking for cups to make a brew at his house and he mentioned it's helping him.
I don't believe a reputable clinic will just try and sell you something, they should give you advice on what to use and what dosages you could try as a minimum i would have thought.
Have you tried Regene Pure they do some good products...i like their shampoo.
Also i personally found Biotin supplements can help a lot with general hair health.

Someone on another forum recommended I try hair omega 3-1 instead of propecia cause of my sides.. I've been using it for 2 days now and the info says it has saw palmetto berry (45% extract) which is basically saw palmetto right? I read saw palmetto can give u the exact same sides as propecia and it doesn't really stop DHT and all these bad things about it.. can this actually help me? Or am I wasting my time.. I just don't know what to believe anymore..

There was a buzz a while back on the forums about a product called Keratene Alphactive Retard, have you looked into this as an option justwantanswers?
