Dr Ball - The Maitland Clinic 2122 Grafts By FUE

This patient in his early 60s came to see Dr. Ball looking to thicken his hairline and frontal half of the scalp. He had been slowly thinning over this area for the last 15 years. Dr Ball debated with the patient over the use of FUE and FUT during the consultation. His goals were to increase the density but a natural and age appropriate look was priority for him. He received 2122 grafts using the FUE method, this was 4665 hairs in total. There was a good number of 2 and 3 hair groupings, which added to the result.

The patient has fine caliber hair which is always going to be more challenging to create density with a hair transplant. Dr Ball met with the patient in person 18 months post op and he was delighted with the results.
