If the clinic hasn't suggested running a blood panel, you're potentially wasting your time, money and having unnecessary procedures. It should be mandatory for female patients with hair loss to undergo a proper investigation to check thyroid, iron and hormone levels. Are you on birth control? This is one of the more common causes of female hair loss and if addressed, can reverse (potentially) the issue.
