Improving thin - thinning crown (after transplantation)

The pigmentation was planned before the transplantation, allowing for fewer grafts to be used (and thus saved for possible later usage).

Left : Full result crown area after transplantation (no pigmentation)

Unfortunately there is no black and white answer.
Everybody has different skin, different environment conditions, protection against the sun etc.

Touch up for density effects like in this example usually occur 5-10 years after the initial treatment. This makes sense because due to the existing hair there is little effect from the sun on the scalp.

For shaven look style SMP most guys come in after 3-5 years after the initial treatments.

That's still a decent length of time. I thought it would have to be topped up every 12 months, so that's good to know. Thanks.

Looks great. How short was the hair shaved to perform the SMP?
