My succesful repair with Dr Feriduni in Belgium!

Hello,
In 2017 I have had a bad FUE in Turkey. The hairline was too low and too hard (due to use of double/triple grafts in the front line),the density was not good and the grafts were implanted in a wrong direction. Furthermore I had pitting, so all together, one word: HORRIBLE.
In 2019 I contacted Dr Feriduni and he proposed a two step approach:
1. Extraction of the too low implanted grafts (with re-use) to make the hair line higher (in two steps),including extraction of the grafts with wrong impantation angle (600grafts)
2. Reconstruction of the new hairline and create more density (+/- 1000 grafts). I was lucky to have enough donor area to obtain this higher density.
Dr Feriduni is very careful in this repair-cases in order to get a natural result and to avoid extra damage of the traumatised skin.
I highly recommend him if you have a bad hair experience...
Futhermore I would never go to Turkey again for such an important treatment. We have the best surgeon in our country, why travelling far away...?
I really subcribe this phrase: " A good hair transplant is never cheap, and a cheap hair transplant is never good"...

Hi Davy.
Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your story.
That old hairline looked terrible, I’m pleased for you that Dr Feriduni was able to punch out and redistribute those grafts. Your hairline looks normal again. Great work by Dr Feriduni.
I'll look forward to seeing your final result once grown out.
All the best.
Bm.

You must feel very relieved to have that fixed. Did you complain to the clinic?

Well, they were convinced that this was a good result... they saw me 8 months post OP, but for them this was natural. I have rest my case and focused on a solution then...

Hi Phil, Yes I can see the grafts implanted in a wrong angle on the left side. Fortunately your hairline is not too low. You also had this treatment in Turkey? I can highly recommend dr Feriduni for repair cases, he is very experienced in this kind of work... I wouldn’t hesitate to get it fixed, because I know how this affects your self confidence...

Not not in turkey
I had first one in uk 200 grafts
Then had 2nd one dr feller New York 2008 1880 grafts
3rd one dr feller again 1400 grafts 2010
So its ruined alot of my life
Dr feller said he would work around the transplants to camouflage but I didn't think how that would work
It's like planting around weeds they always come through

I wouldn’t let anyone touch your hair again and I would go to Dr. Feriduni if I were you. May be there are good doctors in your country also, but with him you are sure you are treated by one of the most experienced doctors in repair cases. I can send you my follow up pictures the next months... I keep you informed about my progress. The second operation was only two weeks ago...

If that was natural I’d hate to see what they they class as unnatural.

Of course! Typical! Same thing happened to me. But to be honest, Id never expect a cheap turkish clinic to acknowledge and admit they did a bad job.
Those "if you're not happy" talks are pure crap, in reality you do the surgery and they don't want to see you ever again.

Your repair looks great so far.

It looks so much better, i couldn't tell you had a transplant let alone a repair work.

Your hairline is looking great Davy.
I can see some of the faded punch out scars which I presume are getting better as time goes by.
You must be thrilled with how it's turning out and being able to put the previous poor work behind you.
All the best.

Feriduni has done a great job. He seems to be becoming the go to guy for repairs. 600 extractions is a lot, looks like you've got minimal scarring from these. How noticeable do you feel the scars are? Always hard to tell whether the lighting makes things more/less visible.

You look great. Not a nice thing to say but if I passed you on the street before I'm sorry I would have likely given you a double take due to the hairline. Now I wouldn't have a clue that you had had a transplant.

How many grafts is Dr Feriduni anticipating you will need to refine the hairline? It already looks much better.
