Some of these alternatives are a good option if you can’t or don’t want to take oral Finasteride.

Hi bigmac good read, I had oral minoxidil for a year and had no side effects but didn't see any decent improvements and have gone back to topical minoxidil now. Hopefully could work better for others

Hi Horris.
Where did you get the Oral Minoxidil from? I don`t want to use it but could be helpful to others.
How do you find the topical works and how easy is it to apply?

Thanks for posting this, Bigmac. It seems Dustasteride is at least as effective as Finasteride and I wonder why it isn't more widely taken here in the UK as a first line of defense against DHT.

Probably because it has a higher risk of sides and most people respond well enough to Finasteride.

I was under the impression Dutasteride had quite bad sides, but it's interesting that the researcher from the video you posted didn't seem to report much too serious.

Yes, in these test subjects it was relatively low. It is something I’m watching and waiting on more data being made available.

Hi bigmac thought I answered this i got them through the clinic recommended pharmacy in Belgium, unsure where else you can get them. I have always been happy using the spray just try not to forget but normally ok. I have shed on my crown now I have started it again so hopefully should start seeing results again soon.

Do you know the name of the Pharmacy? I believe anyone who orders meds from a supplier outside the UK has to pay import taxes now.
