Lotus Clinic, Qingdao China

Hello everyone! I just now registered to post here and I'm looking for some help.

I'm 42 years old, and have been losing hair for about 10-12 years. It became very noticeable around 6-7 years ago, so I shaved it all off and moved to another country (I was going to do that anyway, but the timing seemed perfect to me to shave it then).

Recently I've been missing my hair very much, so I've been looking around at clinics here in China. I had a consultation at the Lotus Clinic in Qingdao. It all seemed so good, I'm really interested, but I want to do more research before just jumping in.

The problem is, I'm having a hard time trying to find much anywhere I look. I'm hoping I can get some help here.

As I said, the consultation was good. First they told me that I had lost too much hair, and didn't have enough in the back to donate. I asked about using hair from my beard, as I have a lot of good hair there. The doctor took a look at my beard and said it would work, but still wouldn't be enough for full coverage.

I asked how much coverage I could get, and they drew some lines on my head. It wasn't great, but it's a lot better than what I've got now, so I got excited about the idea.

The price would end up being around 10-15 thousand dollars, so not super cheap, but a price I'm willing to pay to have that coverage.

Like I said, I'm having a hard time researching, so I'm wondering if anyone here knows anything about Lotus Clinic (biliansheng in Chinese) or Dr. Li Xuetong, or just has any other general advice.

Thank you in advance!

I don`t know anything about this clinic but it seems they have attracted a lot of investment recently.
You may want to check out these Chinese hair loss forums with the aid of Google translate unless you speak Chinese or know someone who can translate for you.

Have you researched hair loss medications?

Do you have some pictures you can add?

Thank you for your reply.

You say they have attracted a lot of investment lately, is this a good thing?

I don't have any pictures to post right now. Suffice it to say, I know I can't get full coverage, that is not the issue. I just wanted to know if anyone had any information on this clinic

I watched a video where someone went to the same company but in Shanghai, and the results seemed great. A little swelling for the first few days, but otherwise very good.

I asked about the video in Qingdao, and they said there should be no swelling if saline is used, and that one could easily return to work the next day. It seemed a bit too good, which is why I'm looking around to find more answers.

Thanks!

If you`re having hairline work done there is a good chance you will have selling. Saline will not prevent this from happening.
The clinic looks like a chain and has attracted investment from companies. Could be good, could be bad, I can`t really answer that.
