Thanks for getting back @CrankySysadmin .. looking through the posts of people who have been to the hair dr seems all positive. The whole process Is a massive worry from the travelling to the actual procedure then the recovery. I’m glad it’s all been positive for you as that gives me confidence. Your donor area looks unreal. I’d love the same outcome. My hair is brown and skin colour is pretty much like yours. I’m hoping 2 weeks off work will be enough time for me to heal and hair to grow back at the donor area so no one will notice but not sure if that’s enough time ?

ill check that YouTube video out thanks again
@Wetbandits Just be mindful of shockloss in the donor area if you are banking on 2 weeks recovery. Not everyone suffers from it but from looking at many posts on here people do get it. Attached a pic of my hair today at 10 days, without the scabs that are remaining you would be hard pressed to see anything was off. 2 weeks should be ok but again everyone is different. I would try not to worry too much about the what ifs for the immediate future after the operation otherwise you will just keep putting it off. All the best bud.

@CrankySysadmin yeah I’ve read about the shock loss. It’s a worry but that grows back(hopefully). I’m hoping to have a non shave HT only the donor area. I’ll hide the front with my hair. It’s only the back I worry about the patchy ness. Your new hairline looks great. You must be happy

Hi All,

I've hit day 17 and shedding is in full swing :( I've attached a couple of pics from when the scabs were mostly gone and the donor area again after another super close cut. Not posted any of the shed because it's just gaps of where the hairs were. I can literary see them washing away when washing my hair.

Cheers im booked in for next week.3000 grafts your pics look.good are u taking the finasteride?
Hi Bailey, yes I am. The Hair dr gives you a complimentary box and have ordered 6 months supply online, no sides yet. One thing I have noticed is that I was comparing my own results to other people's at each day. I've stopped doing that now as everyone sheds etc at different points and is a pointless mindset to get in so early on. The main thing is to keep extra cautious up until day 7 to minise any graft damage, I was up until day 10. Follow the aftercare instructions and you should be good.

Cheers thats the right attitude to have everyone sheds and grows differently, did you wear a cap after day 7? Ive got around 16 days booked off work straight after opp im hoping thats enough time for the grafts to heal as i have to wear a hard hat for work for 12 hours a day thats the only thing im worried about , that and how i will.sleep at night

I wore a cap loosely from day 7/8 for as little time as possible, then after 2 weeks I was wearing my cap regularly including at the gym and then a helmet when cycling. Just be a little careful not to irritate it and keep using aloe to sooth any redness. After 4 weeks life can be as normal as you want to make it.

Attached a couple more pics. Seem to be sprouting more by the day. 2 days away from 2 months and already seem to be well under way.

Thoughts welcome

3 months in 3 days. Can feel lots of hairs breaking through. I am hoping it starts to take off soon. Definitely worrying when you see pictures of people with a formed hairline at 3 months

Hi mate, sorry didn't see you had messaged. Just a waiting game, everything seems to be going well so far though fingers crossed.
No probs mate.. glad it’s going well. I’ve still not pulled the trigger. I’ve seen quite a few posts from people who have used the Hairdr and most are not happy with the growth. Im a bit hesitant now. Just waiting to see the final outcome from others.

Yeah I've seen a few posts also. Although I had 2076 grafts in quite a small area, and had alot of 3's and 4's so I'm hoping the density will be there. I'm going to buy some minoxidil and start applying that twice a day, hopefully it will spur it on.
