Need advice.

I am approaching 7 months post FUE and have read plenty about (GROWTH) between 6-9months can i expect to see new hairs coming through at 6-9 months or is the new hair thats grown already just going to get longer and thicker?
I'm worried that my graph survival is low because even though there had been new growth - an improvement month after month - the density isn't where I need it to be.

Your hair looks pretty dense in those pictures. It will continue to mature and thicken and you have time for more new grafts to push through.

I don’t see any issues unless the lighting makes your hair appear more dense.

Thanks, I was thinking more outside, in sunlight, when you get less shadow. Your hair doesn´t look bad for 7 months . It could be thicker and that could still easily grow more. If you are expecting a thick hairline I cannot see it looking at the pic you posted of the grafts after your procedure.

I took close up pictures and this is starting to worry me. Density is still not great and left side is lacking. Is this a failure?

Some of the hairs look coarse but that could be down to your natural hair characteristics. You still have time for more growth and density but right now, the density doesn’t look bad. You’re probably not going to have a thick wall of hair but that doesn’t mean it won’t look ok once you reach 12 months.

Cheers BM. Question: is it normal for transplanted hair to be so difficult to manage? I find it difficult to style my hair flat.

Sometimes the hairs can be wiry until they fully take on their normal characteristics. If they stick up and won’t go flat, then there is a possibility they’ve been planted at an incorrect angle.

It is hard waiting. I have read many on here with good growth around 12 months that said their hair changed over time while it was growing through. As the hair settled down. Hopefully that is you also.

The overall look and density has improved. Though, I'm noticing a few of my transplanted hairs have been shedding. Should I be alarmed?
I've been on Finasteride (10 months)and Minoxidil (8months). I lose the normal 10 -20 minuturized hair per day but I have been noticing a few hairs that resemble my transplanted hair. Is this normal?

I think it looks really good. Your hair characteristics seems really thick and coarse, I wish I had your hair.
