• Donor density of 92 FU/cmÇ occipital, 88 FU/cmÇ parietal, 84 FU/cmÇ temporal
• Hair diameter of ~ 52-62 microns

Treatment plan
Follicular Unit Extraction to attain an aesthetic reconstruction of the hairline.

Performed procedure
FUE (December 7, 2020)
Follicular Unit Extraction with 2653 FU:
* 308 single hair FU
* 1642 double hair FU
* 703 triple hair FU
HGI: 2,1

Parallel incisions in custom-sized blades technique (Cutting Edge blades of 0,85-1,00mm).
Extraction performed by WAW-system with a 0.85 mm serrated trumpet punch.
No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts.

A great result that looks very natural. I would have been happy with his before hairline but if it bothered him and he has plenty of donor, then why not sort it.
Does no microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts mean you sort the grafts into their grouping using loupes and there is no trimming or splitting them?

And indeed, you are correct on that: the follicular units did not need microscopic preparation in this case.
