Need advice.

I think it looks really good. Your hair characteristics seems really thick and coarse, I wish I had your hair.

Indeed but only by a little. Length definitely helps conceal the thinning areas. I had my I had my in-person meeting with Dr Rafiq (medical director) and he said everything looks fine and I don't need a top-up but if I wanted to increase density - he could do a small procedure for a much reduced fee.

Unless your pictures are very different to reality I would not have a "top-up" in the same area. I don not like the phrase personally. It can imply more could have been added but you chose not to in the first place. Opposed to the density the clinic placed is lower than needed to get a natural look of fullness. But, I think also you need to be realistic and not try to just add more and more hair. Why not go to another clinic and get a second opinion.

They actually confirmed my suspicion that density should be better if they used 2100 graphs which Dr Rafiq (HGC medical director) said the used. I don't think HGC know how many graphs were extracted because I got three different answers from the actually surgeon, medical director and the technician
But I think your right. When my hair is styled down to the side (normal hairstyle when I had hair many years ago) you cannot notice anything and it looks totally fine. The Harley Street clinic did say it would take around 600 graphs to thicken hairline and fill out the gaps in the frontal area and quoted me just shy of £5000. I think I'm just gonna hold back enjoy having hair again

I think that´s a good plan for you, enjoy what you have. That quote is very high for the number of grafts, why so high, did they say? Probably helped you make up your mind I am sure.

600 or 1500 it would cost the same as they have a minimum. That's the going rate for London Harley Street clinics.

I can understand a minimum for them, they have to rate their time. But that seems excessive, I guess they don´t want to do small sessions.

Hair Growth Centre 12 month update.
Question: I started using finasteride around 1 months after my Hair transplant and Minoxidil in month 3 months after Hair transplant. Would I lose my hair if I stopped minoxidil?

From what I can see it looks good. Any hair that was revived by them will revert back to how it was If you stop using. You might not have had much, just a placebo effect. I think Finasteride is a must though.

Sorry Kev, it was more likely a bomb dial. Cheers for the note though. I'm definitely gonna stay on finasteride but I might stop using minoxidil when my minoidil supply runs out.
