What the heck is going on here? Why is my hairline so uneven?

As can be seen, it is to the immediate right side of my face. This does NOT concern my temples which are fine and symmetrical. No-one in my family has any history of hair loss, but my hairline on the right side of my face seems to be further aback than on the left side. I haven't seen ANYONE else with this issue. What is going on?

MPB can happen on one side of your head. For example, my own hair loss was the crown and the centre of my hairline.
Can’t really see anything from the Pictures. Close up higher resolution pictures are required to see the loss that concerns you. Losing hair on one side happens quite a bit.
Making an appointment with a dermatologist or a hair transplant doctor is something you should consider.

As I said, you can see it in the hairline just to the right of my right eye. Pretty hard not to notice. The solution is ofc to make an appointment with a hair transplant doctor, but I also was just curious if anyone suffers from this issue.

As you see in my post, I suffered it right in the middle of my hairline.
Underlying conditions may cause it but I’d say it’s usually MPB.

There is no history of MPB anywhere in my family and your recession that you suffered seems to very normal.

Just because no one else in your family has hair loss doesn’t mean you can’t suffer from MPB. It may skip generations.
Hair loss patterns vary greatly.
Your loss looks normal, but again, the picture doesn’t show much.

You can see the hair loss in the pic and that hardly looks normal. You say it 'sounds quite normal'... Can you not see it clearly in the pic?

I’m saying it is not a rare phenomenon to have your hair loss pattern. It happens.
Search for uneven hair loss.
Seeing a specialist should provide you with the answers you seek. Rule out underlying conditions.

I type 'uneven hair loss' on google images and can't see anything resembling this. It is almost always around the temple area

This link provides some possible reasons.

Hopefully, someone that has experienced the same type of loss as you chimes in.

Its impossible to see anything from the photos you have posted. Other than that, to lose more hair on one side is normal, but to see if its the case you need to take a photo with your hair pulled straight back.

The area in question you can see very, very easily in said pic. Adjacent to where the line is.

The only thing I see is your fringe shorter on the right side. Post a picture with your hair up or looking down.

I had similar pattern to u
I had receding hairline,my right side was higher up than my left side so gave me a wonky hairline
I think it just one of them things
Most guys have more receded one side than other but we tend to notice it more in ourselfs
If u had not said anything i would not have noticed but as u pointed it out yeah i can see what u mean
Its a difficult one mate it just how are bodies are
Some guy's never go bald, some guys have small receded hairlines etc

If you’re hairline is naturally higher on one side due to genetics you could have a HT to even it out if it bothers you.
Or, you could just live with it and style your hair to help disguise it.

This is a good example of no hairloss but a crooked hairline. Henrik Lundqvist a Swedish former goalie in the NHL.

Could be natural bro. Has your hairline always been crooked like that and you didn't notice before?
