15 month in. Is this normal?

Had an FUE in September 2021 on the crown. Had my last check up in July and and I have seen no improvement on the back. My clinic has asked me to go back in March (after the 18 month) to assess.

just looking for peoples view and experience. Although the top up would be free of charge I don’t have much desire to have another, so I am hoping it will fill in.

4500 should shave been sufficient to create a new crown with good density and coverage.

Its certainly a good improvement , but they have used a huge amount amount grafts for the job I think (based off other cases).

With natural direction and no products in. Please note on one of my reply’s I said 4500 grafts, when in fact it was 4500 hairs. Sorry for any confusion

If we assume 2.2 hairs per graft, that’s closer to 2000 grafts.

I’d say for that quantity you’ve had a decent yield, but I do wonder whether you’d need more grafts for full coverage.

Be interesting post 18 months but yes night and day from where I started.

The pictures are poor quality. However, you have had decent growth by the looks of it. Could you ask your clinic to confirm the graft numbers? How long have you been using the meds?
