Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant with Fhsaesthetic March-21

Hello friends,
I researched a lot before I had a hair transplant. Since I could not find enough information on forum sites, I entered a difficult period to decide. I contacted FhsAesthetic with the recommendation of a friend from Istanbul in Berlin. It was a difficult decision both to travel abroad during the corona period and to go to a country I have never been to before. However, after contacting the customer representatives, they also provided support for accommodation and ticketing procedures, as well as hair transplant service. The hotel where I stayed and the hospital where I had hair transplantation were facing each other. The hotel was comfortable and friendly. They also meet the transfer service from the airport.
The people who transplanted my hair in hair transplantation were doctors. In the research I did before I went, I learned that people who have hair transplantation in many hair transplant centers are not doctors. However, the doctor who performed my hair transplant said that he had been transplanting for 9 years. They were also interested after my return trip.
If you are going to have hair transplantation, I can say Fhsaesthetic is one of the options you can consider.

You can ask me any question. I can give answer except working hours.

What is Sapphire fue?
With the Sapphire Fue technique, the healing process of the wounds is shorter and the side effects are less than the FUE technique. Also hair direction is more original than FUE.
Here is an academic article for sapphire technique benefits. According to science it is not a marketing gimmick with zero substance or truth to it.

Effect of different shapes of recipient site creation micro‐blades at varying angles and wound injury

"Sapphire FUE" is absolutely a marketing gimmick as the tool used to make recipient sites is irrelevant to the mode of extraction in the donor region. Sapphire blades are nothing new and can be just as easily used during an FUT procedure. To call it a "technique" is insulting to the patient's intelligence. FUE is a technique, FUT is a technique, punch plug surgery is a technique. Using a tool that already exists but made of a different material, for a technique that already exists, and changing the marketing name to trick patients into thinking it is something vastly different, and superior, is exactly as I said it was; a marketing gimmick.

The publication you mentioned (but not linked to) says nothing about the superiority of using sapphire blades regarding the end result for the patient. It says nothing about the benefits that result in less side effects. It also says nothing about hair direction and angle.

If you still disagree, will you please explain what the side effects are that patients suffer from that can be alleviated using sapphire blades? Can you also explain how "hair direction is more original" than with FUE?

I think a great analogy is to take any FUE procedure and instead of using saline solution to hold the grafts while they await implantation, use hypothermosol. Would this then justify calling it the "Hypothermosol Technique" and say it is superior to FUE? If you add hypothermosol to your "Sapphire FUE" technique, should it then be called the "Sapphire Hypothermosol" Technique. And then, let's say you add some variation of direct implantation where the grafts are inserted immediately after extraction. Is it then the "Sapphire Hypothermosol DHT" technique?

Anyone can pick up a sapphire blade to make incisions, renaming it because of such is a marketing gimmick, 100% as it is not the tool that determines the outcome, it is the hand that wields it.

First of all, I am not a doctor or an academic. Since I was curious about the same thing before the hair transplant operation, I researched and shared the information I saw on the internet and an article I read to the person who asked the Sapphire Fue technique. As I wrote here in the article, there is a research result that 30 percent of patients have less pain.
For myself, I can say that I am very pleased with the hair transplant procedure and the doctors. Although 3 months have passed, when I want to communicate, I can simply communicate and they are interested.

I think nearly all clinics in turkey use the sapphire blade with a some exception who only use DHI method with no channel openings. dr tayfun from Iahrs has said the sapphire blade is superior.

A hair transplant with Sapphire Premade Slit (SPS) method known to be very efficient and dense. In regular hair transplant surgeries, the channels are opened after the extraction of the grafts from the donor area. In the SPS method, the channels for the new hair follicles are opened at the beginning of the operation with Sapphire Slits before the extraction. In SPS method, the channels are opened only with Sapphire Slits which have 0.8-1 mm diameters. This method has many advantages. It allows a doctor to transplant faster and with more density. Moreover, the grafts are directly implanted into these channels without dissecting all of the hair grafts. In this sense, this method is also known as Direct Hair Transplant. In general, SPS method leads to healthier hair grafts and better results than regular/conventional hair transplant methods.
The advantages of using Sapphire Premade Slit (SPS) method includes;
  • Sapphire slits are very sharp and have a smooth surface and, in this sense, SPS allow us to transplant hair with 30 % more density than regular slits.
  • Sapphire Premade Slit (SPS) Method also minimize the damage to the existing hair at the recipient area.
  • Sapphire slits minimize the tissue damage and trauma, therefore the healing process after a hair transplant with SPS method is faster.
  • The scar formation is minimized with Sapphire slits since it allows the skin to smoothly recover.
  • In this method, the hair grafts are kept out of your body for a shorter amount time than other hair transplant methods. In this sense, SPS provides a higher survival rate and healthier grafts.
  • In SPS method, there is minimal mechanical handling of the grafts since the channels are Premade and most of the grafts are not dissected like in regular hair transplant methods. This leads to less trauma and higher survival rates for the hair grafts.
When compared to other methods Sapphire Premade Slit (SPS) method has a clear superiority. The advantages it provides are far more than a conventional hair transplantation. This is why we only use Sapphire Premade Slit (SPS) method for all our operations at DrT Hair Transplant Clinic.

I don’t see how a sapphire blade has the ability to create more density when there are smaller custom cut blades used by numerous clinics. If both blades were the same dimensions then how can one create more density than the other?
Fue is Fue with a few variations on the planting process and incision making tools.

Been reading up on the Sapphire fue. It should be called Fue with sapphire incision blades.

We have been using both methods and I 100% agree with Joe tillman.

Sapphire usage is certainly not bad, but there is nothing supperior to slits made by custom made blades.

In fact the blades of custom made slits are about 3 times thinner then Sapphire blades, so I am not sure what causes more trauma to the skin.

it sounds like fake marketing with no factual studies to back it up.

If the blade is thinner then common sense will tell you the cuts can be made closer together creating more density.

I just had my 2nd HT over the weekend. The first one was done without Sapphire blades the second one was done with them. I can tell you that the HT with Sapphire technique was much better. There is a lot less wounding at the transplanted area and the skin feels much more comfortable. I'm not a doctor or surgeon but I believe that Sapphire method is better.

When you are happy it is nice to hear, and everybody is glad for you.

However, Sapphire blades wounding is equal and probably even greater than when using blades.

Have a look here:

Results count, nothing else does.
