18 months post op, going back for 300 grafts, advice on hairline please?

Hi there,

so 18 months ago I got 1000 grafts to my hairline.

now I am going back to get another 300 free of charge as I felt that the hairline was a bit 'sudden' and looks to obvious in some lighting situations, and the front inch or so is too thin

But any extra eyes could help me with this ie: what should I ask for?

I am thinking that the hairline is too straight and the front inch too thin....

Your hairline is indeed too thin and needs addressing but I don't think 300 grafts will take care of it. I think another 1000 grafts is needed.

I agree with Janna you need more than 300 grafts to fill that area.
Do you have some pre and immediate post op pictures so we can see what growth you received.

It appears as if the hairline starts to turn down or if anything moves in a straight horizontal direction when maybe it should be turning up toward the temple area. I don €™t know best to ask someone skilled and it might be a better idea to have that corrected now before you get in any deeper. Sometimes as odd as it might sound the answer is in removing some grafts and placing them elsewhere.


If you do use another 1000 grafts that could very well be 50% of your total donor by way of fue for a very small area. Do some consults and give it some thought for the long term.

Do multiple consultations the more the better as everyone will have a slightly different answer. On another forum a patient with a similar situation was advised to tattoo the area €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..that in my opinion is poor advice most especially long term and this is why you really do need multiple opinions €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..no less than a dozen €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.take your time and good luck.

300 might help to make the hairline stand out less, but it won't help at all to address the density.
