3 - 6 months is when a lot of people begin to see the first signs of new growth. It can be slow growing at first, then bam, you get a very quick burst. I see your smp has a slight blue colour to it. This should be well concealed once there is sufficient growth.

Thanks @Bigmac yes the SMP has gone slightly blueish, considering all SMP companies promote the message that the ink doesn't change colour and only fades is utter sh*te in my opinion, it's only 2 years old, I wish I'd of gone FUE from the start and not bothered with it. Anyway, having compared pictures from the 28th of August last month (first picture) to today I can see there is a big improvement, it's exciting to think what it will look like next month (4 months in). Fingers crossed.

Donor looks good. Skin fades are becoming very popular cuts these days.
As for SMP, I have seen some good results out there but the industry does have a lot of people offering it with various inks and skill sets. There will be a lot of blue heads out there. I have seen some real bad ones.
Was yours the temp or permanent?

@Bigmac It was permanant SMP, going to research getting the front lasered off slightly, but at the moment im too concered it'll kill the grafts.

Check in the SMP section as you could ask one of the providers if they offer laser treatment. If they do, ask to see examples where they’ve done similar treatments.

Those new hairs seem to be growing in quite fast. It’s covering up the SMP already. You might get away with not having to bother with laser if the new growth hides it away.

Yes seems to be coming in well at the moment. Also have triple grafts breaking through, here's to the next 2/3 months of growth

It looks to be filling in nicely. Those multi grafts behind the hairline should help to add a good density and concealment of the ink.

4 Months and 9 days and I can actually style the front.

Game changing.

Good to see the corners are filling in and you now have styling options. I’d guess the SMP is not very noticeable now.

Hit 5 months 3 days ago. Pleased with the progress so far, I'll reserve judgement on if it's been a success a couple more months down the line.
Couple of points.

Over the last month and a bit I have pretty much forgotten about my hair transplant and let it do it's thing, inspecting every mm of my recipient area 3 times a day is not healthy. I've found it's good for the mental state to put it to the back of my mind and carry on with life.

The left side is slightly lagging behind, the right side is pretty thick and if the left side catches up and I have abit more growth/fullness I'll be very happy. Not worried at this point though, plenty of time for things to even out.

Pics attached under bright spotlights in the bathroom and front flash on camera on. It is currently at around grade 6 but cut with scissors so it's pretty short at the minute.

I'll update again at 6 months. Stay safe.
