Thanks for that solid advice.
One thing, in terms of side effects to finasteride, is this something that should be of concern. I am aware of sexual related problems that can occur, however in your experience how commmon is this?

That's the idea, the hair sheds but regrows, it's just been pushed out earlier than it would have been if no meds were used. Obviously people react differently to meds but when working well the hair grows back in stages, finer and then becoming stronger, it works better the sooner it is started and less thinning has occured and can improve the hair colour and shaft quality. In areas where it has been a while since proper growth occured some see small fine hairs growing a few mm's, velus hair, because the follicle has been dormant for so long the hair usually never matures more than just velus.
As for starting more meds, finasteride works differently to minox so you would be tackling hair loss from two angles, and that's not a bad thing obviously. If you want to first try one and see how it works of course there is a good reason to as you will know which one is giving you the best results. You can always start the other a few months down the line when you start to see results from one, but many take in synergy together and with good results.
