That`s a fair point. I guess they`ll be surprised when they see you without your hat. You should frame your hat and hang it on the wall.

Words just cannot describe how much this has changed my life! In such a short time. The new hair is a bit wirey and coarse but apparently it takes some time for the texture to change to match the rest of the hair.

I know I'm one of the luckier ones because I am an early grower... my doctor said its rare to see a result like this in under 6 months. I hope that people who are watching this thread know this... I don't want anyone feeling bad about their results at 6 months because this is very early in the process for most. Many people are just starting their growth at this time. Anyway, I hope everyone is finding the updates atleast a bit interesting and I will continue to as I go, albeit the results may be less and less noticeable from this point onward.

The density at this stage is good. You are correct about the grafts being wiry for some patients and over time changing texture.
Thanks for pointing out most patients will not have as much growth as you at this timeframe. Some may be just starting their growth.
I`ll look forward to your next update.

Your hairline looks a bit straight going into your temples which might look different in person....Some grafts look coarse which might change in texture as they mature....The growth is amazing.
Are you happy so far?

Hey the angle makea it look a bit straighter than it is. Heres a pic of it straight on. I personally think the hairline is natural looking because ita pretty exactly matches my original hairline before I started receeding. I'm pretty happy with it. The texture is very coarse right now, but the hairs should soften.

That looks much better, more natural....Angles of images can be misleading....If the coarser hairs don`t soften up enough i`ve seen where any that stood out were punched out or some finer ones added around them....

Yeah I hope they soften, If not I'll see what I can do about it haha but I'm not overly worried about that yet because im still just under 6 months. I'm excited to see what the next few months have in store!

Alright update time. Im at 18 months post op now and here are the results:

I'm happy with them overall. I think in the not so distant future ill end up getting another procedure just to improve upon my results. I started at NW4 and after 1 surgery I'm absolutely thrilled!

Hi Cody. You’ve had great growth and good to hear you’re happy with the outcome. I think the hairline is a bit coarse which could be refined with some fine singles in the future but not necessary the was you’re styling your hair.
No more balding look for you.
Thanks for the update.

Thanks! Hah, yeah I'll probably consider doing that in the future when I go to get my hair touched up in a few years maybe, but current not high on the priority list haha. Im just so happy I can actually have a viable hair style again haha!
