3114 Grafts FUE by Prohairclinic with Dr De Reys

On March 11, 2015 I had a hair transplant procedure which took place over 2 consecutive days at Dr. De Reys clinic in Berlaar. The Dr. Supervised the team of Prohairclinic. I had the frontal third covered with a medium density of about 40 grafts per cm. The entire procedure was done manually, no robots or electronic aids were used.
I found the prohairclinic team to be very experienced, organized and professional as they performed the entire procedure with ease and a sense of relaxed routine as if they had done it thousands of times. I do have to admit that I slept through most of the procedure for both the extraction and implantation of the grafts. I guess because I felt so comfortable and relaxed for the duration of the whole procedure. I also felt no pain at any time during the procedure and was always frequently asked if something hurts which seemed to be a bit pointless in asking since I felt no kind of pain.
Now I'm just waiting to see how the results will turn out.

Thats great news for you. I have probably mentioned this before but when a HT Surgeon works from his own home (as de reys did) it says a lot about his ability and ethics.

Out of curiosity, how does working from home say a lot about one's ability and ethics?

Just something I haven't heard before. ;)

What I personally like about someone working out of their home is that you always know where to find them. I honestly believe there are people in this industry that have done so much damage that they are careful what others know about them. They would just as quick exit a room if they knew a past patient would be arriving soon. Very sad but I can tell you this in not the only industry which seems to have this issue but as I said it €™s just my opinion.

The construction trades are notorious for this same issue and that €™s why many of them are fly by night type operations. Most employees of this industry are required to drug and background test. From what I have seen over the years that might be needed with the hair transplant industry. With the recent Jesus claim by one doctor and the heavy substance abuse I know of from another clinic in the past it seems like it would be beneficial.

People that welcome you into their home just gives it all a better feel. And as far as ethics and ability I would be hard pressed to believe that someone lacking in ethics and ability would welcome you into their home it just doesn €™t add up. Not impossible but less likely in my opinion which is always a plus.

Same would apply to a doctor that is happily married and has kids. Because that too I believe matters. Someone with kids looks at things differently. They tend to be more responsible and have a better understand of caring for someone and not causing them harm.

If you look at some of those 30 year old reps in the past in my opinion there could care less about these young guys and their hair loss which is probably normal. They are in it strictly for the money and the more the better. A good example is Matt J. He comes on to the forums and talks about meeting a young lady and then having bed hair. So basically he is telling us how he tapped some ass over the weekend. That is exactly how a 30 year old guy thinks and yes it does matter if you are the patient dealing with issues and this is your go to guy. It €™s not surprising that he never even updated his own result. Maybe he doesn €™t really care and maybe he just did what he had to do when he had to do it. Those that are researching need to look deeper than some picture a clinic posts on the internet.

It's probably more important to look at patterns of behavior.
