3600 Grafts DHI Journey

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my hair transplant journey with all the details for those who are interested. I had a 3600 graft DHI operation. Since my hair loss area was large enough to normally require two sessions, we followed a very strategic planning process. My front and middle sections, specifically areas 1 and 2 were planted very densely. For the areas moving toward the crown, namely areas 3,4, and 6 a significant thickening was done by working between my existing hair. Thanks to the thickness of the roots in my donor area and the fact that most were double or triple grafts, I achieved a much fuller look than I had anticipated. Also, because a 0.9 mm punch was used, there was almost no bleeding, which made my recovery much easier.

I want to be honest about one particular thing I insisted on having a "triangle" peak right in the middle of my front hairline. The clinical team and my doctor warned me many times that this might look artificial in the long run and that I might not be happy with the lack of naturalness after a year. However, I was very firm about my decision. Eventually, the team agreed to perform this design under my own responsibility and took my official approval. When the operation was over and I saw the final result in the mirror, it was exactly what I wanted. I am aware of the risks, but I am happy to have the look I personally desired. The operation was finished very cleanly. I am glad they respected my wishes despite their expert warnings and delivered technically perfect work. Now, I am patiently waiting for my hair to grow.
