6 months post transplant-no evidence of growth/hair looks worse?

There are documented case`s which document no growth results due to the X factor. I hope this is not happening to you.

Unfortunately, I do not pictures will be of value. I was only a diffuse thinner before with a Norwood 2. I am equally diffuse on top and have lost ground in he crown and temples. It is hard when you are generally diffuse to capture 2 identical pictures before and after. I heard that fue into existing hair takes longer to grow then transplanted hair into bald scalp. I hope this is true.

It will be hard for anybody to be constructive without photos.

Doctors will advise you to wait 12 months, maybe slightly earlier before evaluating your growth. If the growth is not as expected, then the doctor will probably want to perform a biopsy to get to the root of the problem.
With some luck you will be a very late bloomer. Pictures would help.

I'm a little confused by the pics you posted. You mentioned in your first post that you had approx 2500 grafts to the midscalp but your pre-op photos of the midscalp looks quite full. In fact, a little fuller than 6 mos post op. Your crown area looks more thin than the midscalp. Did you have any grafts placed in the crown? Do you have any immediate post op pics showing where the grafts were placed?

Hi Benjno, You could be an extremely slow grower or experiencing shock loss. I do hope it's one of these and you begin to see some new growth soon.
You need to wait the full 12 months to see how it turns out, this will be quite tough on you but there's nothing more you can do. Keep in touch with your doctor and send regular updates.
