We would like to present the 8-month result of a 35-year-old patient with extensive diffuse thinning affecting the frontal area, mid-scalp, and crown, corresponding approximately to a Norwood V pattern.
The patient's main concern was the progressive loss of density across the entire top of the scalp. Rather than rebuilding completely bald areas, the goal was to enhance density while preserving and integrating the patient's existing native hair.
Following careful donor assessment, a 6,000-graft FUE session was performed by HDC Medical Team with Dr Christina being the leading physician. Grafts were strategically distributed throughout the thinning areas, with emphasis placed on blending with native hair and creating natural, balanced coverage from the hairline to the crown.
A conservative and age-appropriate hairline was designed rather than following the patient's naturally lower frontal hairline, ensuring a natural appearance and long-term sustainability. This is why we left some of his existing hair to the front hairline.
