Case Summary: 34-year-old male patient with Norwood 6 hair loss. The donor area hair was quite good. The patient's expectation was to cover the entire scalp where baldness was visible. As a result of the evaluation by Dr. Hakan Doğanay, he was found suitable for hair transplantation.
Operation: Two sessions of hair transplant operations were performed 1 year apart. A total of 6750 grafts were transplanted. In both sessions, graft harvesting was performed by AHD technicians using the FUE method. The grafting to the recipient area was performed by Dr. Hakan Doğanay using the DHI (Implanter Pen) method.
Operation Details:
1st Session: Hair transplantation was performed over 3 consecutive days. (5100 Grafts)
- Day 1: 1500 grafts
- Day 2: 1800 grafts
- Day 3: 1800 grafts
Single hair grafts: 575
Double hair grafts: 2500
Triple hair grafts: 2025
Total Grafts: 5100
Total Hair Count: 11,650
Hair per graft ratio: 2.28
At the end of the operation, a small area remained empty in the crown region. Hair transplantation was applied to all other areas. On the 4th day, hair washing was performed and post-transplant care recommendations were given to the patient. We remained in constant communication with our patient throughout the 1-year period and the process was followed up. The result at the end of 1 year was quite successful and the patient was very pleased. When the donor area was examined, there were enough hair grafts for the 2nd session. At the patient's request, a new hair transplant was planned for the remaining opening in the crown region.
2nd Session: 1 year later, 1650 grafts were transplanted to the crown (vertex) region again by Dr. Hakan Doğanay using the DHI method.

- Single hair grafts: 150
- Double hair grafts: 850
- Triple hair grafts: 650
- Total Grafts: 1650
- Total Hair Count: 3800
After 2 years, the entire scalp that showed baldness had closed naturally and densely. Our patient is very pleased with the natural result and has given permission to share photos with his face visible.
