Alternative application for hair transplantation.

This procedure was done several months ago to help with this condition.
The patient is very happy so far.

Looks much better Mick, great work....what exactly is triangular Alopecia? i'm guessing its permanent? does it just affect this area on the scalp?

We see it at least once or twice a year, if I recall take a look at Mickey Gray's pre op pics for a similar case.



Congenital triangular alopecia (CTA), also known as temporal triangular alopecia (TTA) is a non-scarring form of alopecia present over the temporal region It is characterized by triangular hair loss.The cause of CTA remains unknown.

It usually occurs sporadically and there is no specific treatment of this condition. Because CTA involves normal than inflamed skin, it does not respond to topical or intra-lesional steroids. Hair transplantation can be offered to the patient.

I had forgotten about a few other cases we have done over the years.
