What a Tool
Hi David
A few of us are meeting in Manchester on Saturday 14 Jan 2012, we will be in the bar area of the Brittania Hotel, Portland Street from 4pm onwards. There will be guys who have had surgery, like me, and some who haven't. We did it a few years ago and it was good to talk to like mined guys. Tommytwo is going, Bigmac and a fee others. It would be great to see you there. Pm me if you want my number.

Would be good to meet up but dont know whether I could cope at the moment - Just had the misses count the number of hairs on my head , she says ive got about 100 !
even I thought had a couple of hundred -its really upset me again - I had about 1000 hairs before my 3 DHI ops .

I cannot cope with comments about my head or see a picture of it hense why never posted pics.
It would only take 1 innocent comment about having no results and id feel really bad,
know we are all in same bout but it has messed me up big style

David,

It helps when people who are suffering from depression meet and talk about their life problems with others who understand. There is much time and effort exerted trying to solve lifes problems on your own. Your hair problem may seem horrendous and unsolvable at this time, but for now the most pressing problem in your life is the depression, this is especially true if you are having suicidal thoughts.

Keep in mind that people here are not trying to provide solutions to your life problems or cure your depression, we merely want to reach out to you with the offer of support. Meeting people who understand what you`re going through really helps, therefor it may help you if you were to attend the meeting in Manchester as you`re not alone.

Went to the docs today and got meds , then my parents ,told me mum what girlfriend had said about me only havin 100 hairs so she looked and said that s about it maybe a few more but not much - now back home with a very deep depression -heck life is so crap at times , why does hair have to be so important to me .
There are no easy ways out when you have peaple who care about you but going on is so hard esp now no job/money either . Thanks for caring guys !

Not sure what to say here Dave , other than hope the meds work . I know when your in the middle of feeling shit its hard to picture feeling happy. But its up to you to pull yourself up and look at things in a different way. If you have no visible scarring , being 48 and bald is no big deal. Im sure you must know others with hairloss? Really hope it only gets better from here for you.

Hi David,

Sorry to hear you are still suffering from depression, we first spoke of this some 4 years ago and i know how it all affected you. If you feel up to it i will meet you on the way to meet up so we can have a chat in person as i personally think it will do you good.

For now try to look at the positive things in your life and focus on them.

Take care.

Hi David

Just wanted to say i am rooting for you mate and i hope things start looking up for you from today forward.

Whilst battling your own demons you have still taken the time to try and help others and i tip my hat to you for that. Stick around buddy there is a huge shortage of people like you in the world.

All the best
Pacman
