Almost 4 years after FUE

Hey everyone , I had a 2200 FUE done almost 4 years ago by HDC which was a great experience btw . Since then I've maintained my hair very well ,however I'm a little concerned about how my hairline looks. I get called out a lot ,and I notice people's eyes wondering to my hairline (especially when I spike it up ) . One of my clients even thought I was wearing a toupee ! She made her point in front of other poeple and asked me to pull my hair back :'#G::

After doing more research and looking at other people's work, my hairline doesn't even come close to pictures I see online . I feel it needs a boost and softened .I even asked my close friends opinion on it ,and described my hairline looking too abrupt and artificial looking .

I'd say yes it needs to be softened, I thought your hair was lighter than this?
Plenty of space for it to be brought down a small amount to feather it in a bit.

Would you go back to HDC or choose another clinic for this?

Close ups would be good.

It could do with finer hairs added to create a softer look. Some grafts might need punching out because they look too thick.

I don't think any need punching out, just go in front of them, those are all singles in the front I remember when he had it done.

Yes, your hairline looks artificial. Your case is quite typical for how I spot hairtransplants when I am out on the streets or meet new friends. The hairline looks "straight" and weird. You eyes instantly see that something is "funny" and unnatural. Some are better at spotting this then others.

I dont neccesarily has to do with quality of the surgeon, but more with the natural properties of your hairdiameter, contrast to skin and so on.

As Jonzi mentioned, Dr. Umar utilizes nape hair on top of regular head hair, beard, chest, anywhere on the body. Your hairline is constructed well, but I do agree it needs a little reinforcement, and it will look great. I can relate to you because I was a nw 6 who had 4 botched procedures before having my first megasession with Dr. Umar last January. He saved my life with his work. You can see it on the blog I created. I'm having my second procedure (6 in total) with him this October. I empathize because I know how it feels for people to be staring at your hairline in a curious and uncomfortable way.

As has been said, your hairline does appear slightly artificial, but it can without doubt be sorted with a few hundred grafts.
