BHR or Harley Street Hair Clinic

Hi everyone im jus wondering if anyone on here has had any work done at harley street hair clinic, as i am looking into having a fue, ive seen brilliant results from the BHR clinic but im jus wondering about Harley Street.

Hello, welcome to the forum dude.

There hasn't been many Harley Street patients on any of the forums really over the last few years with just the odd one here and there i can remember, whilst BHR has posted hundreds of quality consistent results over the years.

Results and transparency speak for themselves in my opinion.

Good luck in your quest to choose a clinic. Would love to hear a little more about your own hairloss situation.

Hi bullitnut, thanks for the reply. I noticed that aswel that theres no harley street hair clinic results. I did have a consultation with them last month and they seem really nice they told me i should go on propecia for upto 6 months to stabilize the hairloss and then come back to them. i got in touch with BHR aswel and they basically told me the same. Im 26 and ive been losing my hair since i was 19. With ht can you pay with monthly installments or do you have to pay it all off in one.

Usually all at once, if you are wanting to pay in installments you could try a bank loan. BHR are a class act and I would personally pick them over the other clinic hands down. Thanks for the added info, I agree it would be a great idea to try and stabilise your loss with meds first dude.

Due to the lack of results online from Harley Street it is BHR without question.

The only result I have seen from Harley Street is Rooney's and it's terrible!

Hi all thanks for the replies, BHR clinic results are excellent, ive also been on the Harley street website and they do have some good results but why is it that England have no good hair clinics. Do you really think rooney's transplant is that bad.

Most of the time you see him on TV he is wearing concealer.

They did towards the hairline but I'm guessing he had around 3000 grafts covering a large area so it's not going to be a full head of hair. It's all about supply and demand.

Oryt, im guessing he must not be taking propecia anymore then, why is it that England don't have any good hair clinics

He may very well be taking propecia but sometimes hairloss can be too aggressive for it to completely stop hairloss so it only slows it down.

I don't think it all grew, in any event, bad result, looks like a comb over.

In respect of Harley Street Hair Clinic. Whilst they may not be a bad clinic and may practice ethically.
If there is very few results published online. In 18mths of research I have not seen a documented patient post pictures of their results, 12mths after procedure.
Would you seriously take such a big risk?
When I last looked at their website a few months ago, it only showed immediate post op results. We need to see 12months post op.
Now it could be they are producing great results and are simply too busy to market their results to attract additional business. That's why its a big risk!
Also any HT surgeon who works on a celebrity. Would they try that hard working on you, as they would on Mr Rooney?

Totally agree. On the assumption that he did have 3000 grafts, even with severe shockloss to the recipient area, it appears a very sub standard result.
However I seem to recall that approx 7-12 days after his HT he was on holiday in the sun, sporting his transplanted hair. The guy even had photos of himself swimming in the pool. I may be slighty incorrect about the days post op, but he was photographed with no loss of the transplanted grafts.
Makes you also wonder if he contributed to his poor result.

Yeah I saw those pics of him standing in the sun post op, what an idiot!

I don't think the clinic gave him the correct information regarding this, or he probably wouldn't of gone out in the sun.
