Hi Dazzster, thanks for your comment. I waited 8 months between procedures and I had around 1200 grafts put in the crown. The goal was to add some light coverage there as the donor supply is limited. Good luck with whatever you decide. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Levrais

thanks for that as I was wanting to get my crown over and done with after a few months but advice has been given to wait and you have just affirmed that for me,I think i am looking at the same amount of grafts for the crown myself , If i get a result even close to yours i would be over the moon , with your posts you can feel the positivity from you and thats what its all about

cheers

Dazzster, I was just looking your pics over. You and I have a similar loss pattern. Although your crown looks like it would be easier to fill in that mine. Your donor looks great at this point too. I would still definitely give the donor area a while to recover and check the density before getting another op. But since the crown is virgin skin you don't necessarily have to wait a year.

Hi Bigmac,

Thanks for checking on me. I'm just short of the 13 month mark at this point and still very happy. There hasn't been much change since my last update. I will be going back for one more op to add some density to the crown and to touch up a couple weak areas in a few months. Just a touch of hair greed :)

Hi All, I just got back from round 3 at BHR. While there, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Topcat for a couple days. He is a great resource and a cool guy to spend time with. I also got to meet and spend some time with another patient called marco which was great as well. My procedure was to fill in a few weak areas in the frontal 3rd and temple points as well as to hit the crown for some more density. I had a few people tell me that it wasnt necessary and that I looked fine as is. I agree with that but I decided that I have come this far and might as well put the finishing touches on. I especially wanted to hit the crown as even though there was coverage, it was a bit more see through than I want. So, I eded up with 1656 fue grafts in those areas, mostely 2's and 3's. The procedure was split into 2 days which made it quite managable. I didn't really feel like I had been through anything. In fact 2 hours after the second session, marco and I went out on the town. As always, I was treated very well at BHR. Dr. Bisanga, in addition to being the artist and top sergon that he is, is also a cool and down to earth guy. I stayed in Brussels for a week after the procedure to allow time to heal before traveling. During that week, I went to the clinic several times and Dr. B was always happy give me a check up and have his techs do a cleaning. We also had some time to just sit and talk about his techniques and the hairtransplant industry in general which was quite informative. I think part of the reason that BHR is so effective is because of the way Dr . Bisanga treats his patients and staff. Following are some pictures taken at the clinic. If anyone has any questions about my procedure or my experience at BHR, please let me know.

Thanks for the comment Daz. Next time I'm in Europe (usually once or twice a year) I will make it over to the UK for sure.

Oh, btw Daz, it was seeing your update that made me think to ask my doc if he would do my ht without shaving the recipient area. I was pleasantly surprised that he agreed to do it. It seems to have taken a bit longer as its apparently more difficult for the doc to make the incisions and for the tech to implant the grafts. But its much easier to get on with life a few days later.
