This client wore a hair system for the past 20 years after a poor HT job left him with a wide scar and mini grafts in the hairline. Result is after 3 passes of temporary SMP.

The freedom he must feel from being rid off the system must be amazing, if someone has worn a system for such a long time what would you recommend he do to get his scalp in tip top condition prior to the smoke?

Good question bullitnut. I would recommend the person go for at least a week or two without wearing the system: a) to get used to life without it, and b) to let the scalp breath a bit. Sometimes the skin can be dry so he can also moisturize it, and get a little sun on it (not to the point of sunburn, though).
