can hair growth from propecia be lost during surgery

does any one know if hair grown from rogaine foam and propecia be lost during a ht ?

That's hard to determine, I'd say only if they are transectected.
Otherwise they should be fine Imo.

thanks for the response, say if someone has work done in the front third , does he risk having midscalp hair being lost during a ht? one last question, besides using rogaine foam and propecia, is there anything else over the counter that someone could use to help prevent shockloss and increase hairgrowth?

What you're currently going is your best bet so far. Shock loss from surgery isn't common and if you did lose some to shock loss they should grow back within 2-3 months.

Janna as a rule does shock loss tend to happen more in the donor area after a surgery or in the recipient/transplanted areas.....i have seen both posted over the years from various clinics but wondered which was most common?

I don't think there's a general rule to shock loss but I've personally seen it more in the donor than in the recipient sites.

The transplanted hair is removed from one area of the body (donor site) ... Propecia and Rogaine can slow or even stop hair loss.
