Can lower ferritin levels be the cause of my actual hair loss?

A year and 9 months ago I was diagnosed with ferropenic anemia, I had 3.8 ng/mL ferritin. At the same time I was diagnosed with Androgenetic Alopecia, you can imagine the disaster, telogen effluvium from ferropenic anemia plus miniaturized hairs due to Androgenetic alopecia. I started using Oral Dutasteride 0.5 mg daily and Oral minoxidil 5mg daily and an iron supplement for my ferropenic anemia. Then hair started to recover pretty good, one of my last blood work showed that I had 60.9 ng/mL of ferritin (that was 9 months ago). I have recently noticed lower density based on my before and after pictures and shedding has been hitting bit harder (not as hard as before). I decided to do a new blood work, and my ferritin level are 35 ng/ml. Could this be the cause of increasing on shedding plus less density? My doctor didn't care about my hair loss and he said my ferritin levels are in a normal range, but I do think going from 60.9 ng/ml to 35ng/mL is something that you can't just ignore not only because of hair loss, but for health.
