Hi all,
I’ve been researching getting a hair transplant for what feels like years.
Various life events and money have led me to put it off but now 30 I can’t take looking at my hair line getting worse.

I’ve read this forum a few times as a ‘lurker’ but wanted to ask about a clinic in Turkey that appears to be hardly mentioned here, Clinicana.

I’ve read one line about being a ‘hair mill’ but having seen the YouTube channel and reviews they seem to attract many customers from all over the world. However having read this forum I’ve seen there is a lot to be wary of such as fake reviews etc.

I can’t afford the UK prices so I’m hopeful this could be a saving grace.

I’ve not took any notice on this clinic because it’s impossible to look at all the clinics that are offering hair restoration these days.
I did take a quick look at their pricing. The top tier they say - “Consultation & drawing the hair line by the medical team before one day from the operation”
I’m not sure if it’s their poor English skill but the two cheaper options don’t offer drawing the hairline, unless they mean it is drawn 5 minutes before surgery with the cheaper options.
Don’t let price dictate your choice. Look at results snd speak speak to patients if possible. Who will do the surgery? If a tech team, will you get a good team or ones that aren’t as experienced?

What is your hair loss story? Do you have any pictures you could share?

I’m unsure of who the doctors are/team are however I’ve found a UK Based business that uses them for hair transplant with them offering a chaperone service that would relieve some of the worries I’ve got.

My hair loss started from my early 20’s and has now made me so self conscious that I lack any real confidence. I’ve attached a couple of pictures of the current state of my hair.

With you being 30 you`re considered still young, even though you might not think so. You have lost quite a bit of hair And I understand and can relate to your loss of confidence.
One option is to shave it off or buzz right down. You`d be surprised how quickly you get used to the look.
If this is a no-go for you then I would consider taking hair loss medications to prevent/slow down future loss and possibly revitalise dormant/miniaturised follicles. This will benefit you if you do go ahead with a hair transplant. Without meds, you risk losing more hair and running out of donor. Meds do have possible sides which you need to consider before making a decision. I`ve been on Finasteride since 2005 and I am fine.

If you do decide to travel for a HT, you don`t need a chaperone service. It is pretty easy travelling by yourself or with a companion.

I would ask them what is the name of the doctor doing the surgery. Then you can research them and decide if their work is good. This is a big decision and should not be taken lightly.

Looking at your pictures I would say a minimum of 3-3500 grafts for the frontal half, possibly 4000. This will depend on your donor supply. Your crown I would leave and see if it benefits from meds.

What has this clinic or their UK sales outlet quoted you and did they send you a surgery plan?
