Concealer

I have a social event coming up where I can't really wear a hat and I was looking for some advice.
I'm thinking of wearing concealer at it but not sure it would do any good on my level of loss. How little hair can you have for it to still work ok?
Also, does it 'hold' your hair I place?
Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. I'm worrying about it quite a bit to be honest.

It will not hold your hair in place. You will need a firm hold hairspray for that, get one that is non perfumed otherwise you will probably smell of daisys and roses.

As Coopman says use a non perfumed hairspray, any of the fibre type concealers will hold onto any hair you have, take a look at how effectictive they are on Topccats thread in the patients section.

Thanks, bm and coopman. What about out in the wind? Would it stay on your hair?

Jessop if you go through the last few pages of my thread you can see one picture where I actually dove into a swimming pool and what it looked like as I came out.

The product I use is water proof. I also have a picture farther back where I was working in the rain.

It all depends on the product you are using. I do have to say Prothik in my opinion is the best available for me. In the gym I can be completely soaked in the summer heat and the hair still looks good

Thanks topcat. I've looked through your thread before. Great change in your situation. I'll have another look to see the photos when I've more time.

I've long hair. Worried in the wind it'll all blow back and show my non existent hairline.

With a decent hairspray you should be ok in the wind,you could always test with a hair dryer first.
