Yeah, considering augumentation by fat transfer. Heard NYU Docs on satellite radio recently. Sydney Coleman, big guru in Manhattan, now using this method instead of traditional face lift. Claims great success. Have any of the bros experience with this?

Ya, Sydney Coleman invented the fat trasfer, has the best best longtern fat retention out there, his has lasted for years and years. I like the female doctor working with Coleman a lot and have also seen her work. It is very good and she is very kind and cheaper. I believe she is the only one he has ever taken in and taught all of his technique. I would only do fillers, such as fat, I would not cut the face, it's just not worth the scars. As we age we lose fat in our faces or volume and that is what needs to be filled back up to erase lines and to look like yourself again. Her name is Alisa Saborieo or something close to that.. I would travel to get the best, just like with any procedure. Always good to go to the best and known for safety.

Thanks bigD, is the d as in dick? Do you know/have you actually seen Sidney's longer term results? We know that fat resorbs. I do not know what his secret is nor why he will not share w/other docs. It can't be because of lack of pts. or $. On the radio, he said that he uses fat for breast and buttock augmentation...sounded as though he limits himself to fat transfer, so perhaps practice makes perfect, allows him greater successes. His gal does traditional nip and tuck, in ddition to lipo transfer. Perhaps the moderator could be persuaded to get the doc to contribute to the forum, even conduct a contest to help out one of our bros. My interest is in phallic augmentation. Your handle might indicate that you do not need help in that area.

What do you define as "soon"? I'm wondering if its anything like when Dr. Ron says, "you can expect our website to be up soon". We all know, "soon" means anywhere between 2-3 years. Except now he's been saying, "anytime now" so I'm cautiously hopeful it'll be within next 2-4 months. ::;mb

North country boy, look at steve denenberg omaha, noses a speciality. Dont go UK route since most PS don't specialize, go west for natural result!

Hi kook, just had a quick look at his website, lots of berfore and after pics looks good up to now, like BM says have you had work done with him and how did you find him, do you know any good american forums, cheers NCB

Yes I went in 2001 after several poor consults over several years both in UK and US, chose Denenberg after a lot of research. Unlike others he was willing to to discuss techniques and doesn't have signature look also does 'open method' which means he is not working blind. He also only sees two or three patients per week so it's no production line. Get the feeling that those are the qualities that set apart the top HT surgeons as well.

Weren't so many forums when I was researching in late 90s/ early 00's although 'Yes they're fake' was quite useful.

I had to stay 6 days to wait for cast removal, first day felt bit beaten about but after that felt fine just had two black eyes for next three! Not a great look! But after the cast came off looked fine just slight swelling of nose which I imagine was noticable only to me. Unfortunately I caught the dollar at its strongest 1.28 to the £ so cost me about 4700 quid but whilst this was more than UK clinics (3-3500) it was probably comparable to prices charged by some of the UK surgeons who work for themselves. I felt it was worth it since I was dealing with a specialist who was not a hired 'jack of all trades' mercenary for large organisation, and was well looked after.

Yep I'm now considering HT after 10yrs on finisteride/dut and thanks to these sites have narrowed search down to Bisanga or Shapiro (leaning towards latter at mo) just need some Fue to restore temple angles and hairline, dont want to use up too many grafts (or cash) though!

Hi kook, yeah ive not much faith in the uk for anything, ive short listed 2 in the uk both down london im classed as a revision case so would cost about 8k plus, so it could be another trip to the usa for me, As for the ht i dont think you can go wrong with both of the clinics you have decided on, i know first hand that you will be well looked after at sharpiros its a professional set up, cheers NCB

I think you get best advice from good doctors. They can suggest you a best information. Before three years I have same problem same as you, and I done cosmetic surgery and there are no any side effects of it.

I have had a

Lower MACS face lift, chin implant, jaw implants done twice and twice had to be removed due to infection grrr, permanent silicone lip implants, fillers to the cheekbone ,jawline. and semi permanent tattooing of tiny hairs along the eyebrows. also a little bit of dermaroller and skin tightening laser and laser to remove facial veins and a touch of chemical peel.

I think thats it and before you ask I don't look like Pete burns ;;D

Saying all this I think the HT will cost me the most :whatever:
