Just wanted to share how my surgery day went. I got to the clinic around 9AM, went over the hairline design one last time, and then they trimmed the donor area before starting the extraction and implantation. Honestly, the whole day flew by.
The worst part for me was definitely the anesthesia injections. Other than that, the procedure was way more comfortable than I expected. I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep a few times.
One thing that really helped me feel confident was how the doctor personally checked my scalp during the consultation. He parted my hair, showed me exactly what was going on, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
After the surgery, I stayed overnight at the hotel and came back to the clinic the next morning for my first wash and post-op instructions before heading home.
For anyone thinking about getting a hair transplant, I'd recommend bringing a hoodie and a couple of dark-colored towels. The hoodie is easy and comfortable to wear after surgery, and the towels come in handy for covering your pillow while sleeping at the hotel.
Overall, the experience was much smoother and more comfortable than I expected.
