I had the DHI Direct In Technique done 3rd week of January.Had 1323 grafts (2339 hairs) implanted at the front and on top.The hairs are gradually falling.Could anyone tell me how long does this process lasts? When will the new hair starts appearing? After how long does it look thick? My doctor at DHI has already explained this to me but I want to hear from you guys who have had the procedure. Thanks

Hi

Doing great,thank you.

Hair is growing back nicely.

Will share some pictures soon.

2 months this thursday since I had the transplant.

I have been using Regaine religiously. I can see some new hair growing on the crown.

In 2 more months, I hope I will have some even better news to share.

Your coverage must be spread very thin as there is a lot of scalp covered there with 1323 grafts. It looks more like a 3000 graft case to me.

I did not have a completely bald scalp before.
I was using a hairpiece before. So I was shaving part of the head to fix it.
I still had some hair on the front, top and part of the crown. What they have done is fill in the gaps on the scalp.

I agree with Badger that there was a lot of area covered with just 1323 grafts. It looks like there were way more grafts planted. Best wishes for a great result.

Hi

Thanks for your post and wishes.

I was told by the surgeon doing the procedure they managed to get 1323 grafts from the donor area. I have even taken a picture of the tray full of fresh grafts. I will upload it soon.

Thanks again

Please see new photo of my hairgrafts.

On the wooden spatula it says the number of grafts and hairs removed from the donor area.

Hi Buddy
Just by looking at your pictures it does look more than 1323 Grafts planted especially with the area that has been covered , anyway I wish you all the very best with a great recovery and growth

Cheers
