DHI. Why is this dubbed the lunch hour transplant?

Seen this article in the mail relating to DHI'S transplant procedure called "the lunch hour transplant" Surely this has to be the journalist who has named this, as i just don't get it when it usually takes 1 or 2 days to do?

DHI please don't think i'm critisizing the work in the article as it looks clean, i'm not critisizing your clinics either in any way, i'm just confused at the name thats all guys

Hey Bullitnut, I`ve had the lunchtime fue sessions with DHI on a number of occasions. Each time I had 150 to 200 grafts, I kept my hair long which enabled the doctor to shave a hidden strip underneath for the extraction process. The grafts were transplanted between the hairs in my hairline with no requirement to shave. This suited me to the ground as I work in the city where appearance matters, I could not afford time out for a larger conventional fue. No one has noticed I`ve had anything done as as the change is slower which suits me just fine.
I actually work several blocks from Harley Street which made calling into the clinic on an extended lunch easy. I noticed DHI`s results on here after checking into various clinics on Harley and Wimpole Street, they were the only ones who offered this procedure after explaining my predicament with work and appearance.
All in all I`m happy with the service I received from them.

It's just a matter of doing a very small procedure in a short period of time like an hour or two. The session are then well hidden that patients have had any work done. You go get a small procedure then go back to work on the same day. I recall a physician doing a similar thing but he called it postage stamp or something like that because he address a very small section which was the size of a stamp. I don't think the journalists are coming up with the names.

Thanks Janna, i understand what it means now that you mentioned the postage stamp sessions. I remember reading about them a few years back.

To be honest what was throwing me and confusing me and made me wonder if the journalists had named it that was because in the article the guy it talks about had 10000 grafts in one surgery(which obviously can't be right) and it says he had work in the morning and a break for lunch followed by more work.....yet they called it a lunch hour transplant*nl
