Hi.
I had a transplant (documented on my profile) last year and am looking to undergo a second one.
My question is, are there additional details that doctors should take into account and potentially other techniques etc when the operation they are doing is top up onto existing transplanted hair, vs a 1st one on natural/no hair
l have contacted a number of clinics. Some seem to just treat me as they would any patient 1st or 2nd and offer x grafts - here are our availabilities.
Others tell me that if I had a transplant before a second one would have to be very careful not to cause loss of the previous grafts and needs to be totally differently planned.
Is this something I need to take into account? To focus on clinics who are specialized in top ups so they dont just add 3000 grafts and cause the previous ones to fall out?
