Dear Community,
I thought I would give you something back as I was able to benefit a lot from you. Before I talk about my experiences with the Dr. Feriduni Hair Clinic, I must say that I am doing very well on post-op day 1. I have/had no pain during and after the op. The entire stay was unique, both Dr Feriduni and his entire team are top class without exaggeration! I'm so happy to finally get it over with. My surgery took place on 11/18/22 and a total of 3726 grafts were transplanted in the front area.

The op report will follow later. About me: I'm 35 years old, I've had slowly progressive hair loss since my early 20s, and I don't think I've noticed any further (noticeable) hair loss since my early 30s (without medication). I have never noticed any fallen out hairs on my pillow or in the sink. I was diagnosed by Dr Feriduni as an NW 3 candidate.

My two brothers (34 and 39 years) are at most NW 2. I estimate father to be NW 5. Research: I've been a member of this forum since January 2021. I'm lucky that I found it in time. At that time I was about to have the operation at Elithairtransplant in Istanbul. After some reading time, I quickly realized that there are many things to consider in hair transplantation and I immediately canceled the appointment with Elithair. From that time on, I read my way into the artery really intensively. First in this forum, then in all other known forums out there (Hair Restoration Social Network, Alopezie, BelliCapelli, etc.).

I then contacted all the top clinics. These were dr. Feriduni (was my No.1 Laughing from the start), Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Lupanzula, Hasson & Wong, HLC Ankara, Dr. Kaan Pekinger, Dr. Ayoub, Hairmedic, Dr. Villnow, Dr. De Freitas, Dr. Couto, Dr. Bruno Ferreira… last but not least, of course, I also contacted Mr. Andreas Krämer about Dr. Heitman. To this day I've been on all forums almost every day and have absorbed all the testimonials ( I don't want to know what you think of me Laughing ).

counseling sessions
On July 1st, 2020 I went to a consultation with Dr. Ayoub in Ratingen. Pleasant guy, the price at the time was very tempting. When he then raved about Feriduni (he had learned from him), I knew that there had to be something to the forum recommendations.

On July 7th, 2020 I went for a consultation with Dr. Feriduni - right from the start I was very impressed by his professionalism, competence, experience, patience (he had answered all my questions, there were quite a few laughs), empathy and the feel-good atmosphere in the clinic. He is still extremely likeable and down-to-earth, seems like a buddy. He advised me to wait 1 year, prescribed me Finasteride Gel 2.5% from an Italian pharmacy. He told me to try this for 1 year to strengthen my existing hair as I have really fine hair. However, I have a good skin/hair contrast as I have a darker complexion. Although I was disappointed at first, I was immediately impressed by his honesty, and it showed me again that he doesn't need the money, which in turn made me feel positive.

medication
I have been using the finail since January 1st, 2021 without any noticeable/known side effects, according to Feriduni my hair in the tonsure area has become stronger and thicker again, he enthusiastically informed me about this 1 day before the operation. I can attach pictures if needed. According to him, my hair never fell out in the back area, only miniaturized, which is mostly strengthened again!
Surgery report:

Diagnosis: NW 3 Vertex Class P Technique: FUE Surgery Details: Reconstruction Hairline+ Temporale+ Midhead Zones 1+2+3+4 Punch size: WAW 0.85 Extraction: Single FUs: 600 Double FUs: 2251 Triple FUs: 875 Total FUs: 3726 Remaining donor capacity: approx. 3500 grafts Hair count: 2.07 Hair caliber: ~ 68 microns

Alright, now I would like to share my experience at the Dr. Feriduni Hair Clinic speak:

11/17/22: Arrival by car (approx. 430 km) to Hasselt. After a drive of about 4 1/2 hours, we check in (my three-person companion and I) at the Hashotel recommended by the clinic (highly recommended). Then at 2:30 p.m. we went to the preoperative consultation with Dr. Feriduni.

After a short wait I was received by him. We went through all the steps together again, he examined my hair again, including the one from the back of the head (tonsure). He was delighted to find that the hair in the area mentioned had become nice and strong again due to the use of the finail. He took pictures and compared them with the pictures from the 2020 consultation. Then he drew my hairline, first with a template and then with a "laser device" to draw everything as precisely as possible. It was important to me not to draw the hairline too conservatively, but also not too aggressively. He explained to me that there are 3 types of hairlines: conservative, normal and aggressive. He showed me this by drawing all three lines on my forehead to better illustrate. We agreed on the "normal" line. In order not to lose time unnecessarily the next morning, he gave me a bandana for the evening so I could cover my drawn head the conversation lasted more than an hour, you could just tell that he is passionate about his calling. Although I was looking forward to the upcoming surgery, I still had great respect for it. This was evident the following night. I woke up almost every hour, nervousness spread, so that I was completely awake at 5 a.m. I was just scared of the syringes. I had a light breakfast at 6:50 a.m. before being picked up at 7:20 a.m. by a taxi arranged by the clinic.

18.11.22: day of the op After being taken to the clinic by the taxi driver, I was immediately welcomed "with open arms" by the friendly staff at the clinic. I was shown to my private patient room for the day, ordered my lunch and put on my scrubs. After a short time, Dr. Feriduni and accompanied me to the operating room, where his staff were already waiting for me. After all the preparations for the operation (shaving my hair, access, drawing in the donor area, etc..) I lay prone on the operation table. dr Feriduni put the anesthetic shots in the back of my head. While doing this, he also used a vibration device, which distracted the nerves. I was positively surprised that the injections were only small picks, it was all very easy to endure (less pain)!
Then 2-3 of his long-time technicians started the removal, which took about 3 hours. I keep dozing off. I'm lucky that I can sleep in any position After the removal, the injections in the forehead area followed, which were also very bearable! A 20 minute break followed.

Below was Dr. Feriduni's turn. Before he started setting the canals, he enthusiastically showed me my removed grafts, which were prepared in nutrient solutions in small bowls (100 grafts per bowl). He informed me that the quality of my fine hair is better than he had assumed. This was then followed by Dr. Feriduni setting the channels for the next 90 minutes or so. That's when I started watching Scarface on Netflix. We talked, there was just a very pleasant atmosphere throughout. I couldn't believe that I just had an operation, I felt so good about it

In the end, the 3 technicians were allowed to do the planting again, who had already carried out the removal. You could just feel their years of experience (according to Dr. Feriduni 10-25 years of experience). I almost only slept half the surgery, I had to catch up on some things from the night before

Finally, after the first head wash, we went to the office to see Dr. Feriduni. He took pictures again and told me that everything went great and that he was satisfied with everything. It couldn't have gone better. I received an aftercare package from one of his employees and access to an HT app, which provides excellent support for aftercare. The following day there was a follow-up check and a head wash. Then it was over and we headed home.

Conclusion
I can recommend the Dr. I heartily recommend Feriduni Hair Clinic. From the beginning (including the 2020 consultation) to the end, I simply felt at home. dr Feriduni is just a cool guy! I would like to thank Dr. Thank you Feriduni and his top team for everything. Now only the end result has to fit, but as we all know, that's still 12 months away. That's it for now from my side, as of today (post op day 2) I have no pain or anything like that. I intend to update regularly, if you have any questions or suggestions I am of course happy to help, I would be happy to smile
:)

Great post that is very detailed. The grafts look densely packed and the extractions in the donor look very clean.

Hi Stefka. I’m pleased the forum helped you with your research. It sounds as though you’d already made up your mind Dr Feriduni was the clinic you’d choose after your extensive research. I’m sure Andreas will have been helpful too. I’ve known him for over 10 years, very nice guy, just like Dr Feriduni and his team that I’ve also known over 10 years.
It’s good to hear you were advised about topical Finasteride gel and that it has strengthened your hair.
Everything sounds like the whole surgery experience was a breeze. I had the vibrating tool used on me when I had surgery, it really does make a difference. The work looks very good. Donor area looks perfect with the small punch holes. Hairline design I like very much. I think the 3726 grafts will give you a great result.

I know you’ll receive great aftercare too. Plus you have the app which is an excellent resource. It would be great to see how you’ve healed as you’ll be 2 weeks post-op now.
Thanks for sharing your story, it was a good read and very detailed.
All the best.
Bm.

14 days post op
I strictly followed the post-op instructions of the aftercare app - apart from slight itching in the donor area, I didn't notice any abnormalities - I didn't have any pain, of course that's all individual. I didn't have any problems sleeping either, because fortunately I I'm a back sleeper yesterday (post op day 14) I removed the entire scab, I was surprised that my scalp was only slightly red
I have attached pictures - what do you think about the work of Dr. Feriduni and my hairline design?

You’ve healed really well. Having no redness at this stage makes it look as though you’ve not had a HT.
The design is good. I like the temple points too. Once grown in I’d say this will be a super result.
Thanks for the update.

Hello everyone,
I'm now 3 months post-op - I'm satisfied with the course so far, and I haven't had any complaints so far I've attached pictures in daylight and in the bathroom. Forgive me for the dirty mirror
Was at the hairdresser the day before yesterday, sides were trimmed to 2 mm - I'm curious about your opinions
Will probably only upload pictures again at 6 months post op.
Greetings and stay healthy!

It looks what I would expect at 3 months. The sides might have some shock loss that is still recovering but it looks perfectly normal to me.

Everything looks right on track for 3 months. You’re having early growth with your hairline shape filling in. Also, some pimples in the temple point areas that is a sure sign that new grafts are pushing through. Donor looks good with the short cut.
Thanks for the update.
I’ll look forward to your next update at 6 months.

Hello everyone, as promised, here is my 6-month update.
The first pictures were taken outside in the open air, so that you can see the clear spots relentlessly.
Of course I'm hoping for more density, but I'm in a positive mood, it's only half-time Smile
It should also be mentioned that I am in regular contact with Dr. Feriduni to keep him posted.
What do you think about my current status?
I will then upload pictures again in 3 months
